Alert Issued for Heavy Rains for Many Districts in Jharkhand, Residents Advised to Stay Safe
The Ranchi Meteorological Center has issued a three-day alert predicting heavy rains and thunderstorms in many districts of Jharkhand, with measures provided for residents to stay safe.
RANCHI – Residents of Jharkhand are bracing themselves for heavy rains and potential thunderstorms set to hit many districts on 3rd July.
The Ranchi Meteorological Center issued an alert for these conditions, spanning over three days.
This warning was issued on the 30th of June.
In the midst of these weather changes, no significant alterations in the state’s maximum temperature are anticipated within the next five days.
For the 1st of July, light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder is expected in several parts of the state.
On 2nd and 3rd July, similar conditions are predicted to occur over northern and adjoining central areas of the state.
The forecast for the 4th of July is much the same, with light to moderate rain and thunderstorms likely to affect many parts of the state.
By the 5th of July, almost all places in the state are expected to experience light to moderate rain along with thunder.
Heavy rainfall is specifically predicted for Dhanbad, Deoghar, Dumka, Godda, Jamtara, Pakur, Sahibganj districts on the 3rd of July, warranting an alert.
Precautions have been shared with residents to protect them from potential thunder and lightning hazards.
These include staying indoors as much as possible, avoiding the use of electronic devices or corded phones, and refraining from standing near high ground, isolated trees, power poles, or open spaces.
