Woman Injured in Tatanagar Station Train Fall, Swiftly Assisted by RPF

Basanti Devi fell from a moving train at Tatanagar Station, receiving immediate assistance from patrolling RPF personnel, ensuring swift medical attention.

Jamshedpur – An unfortunate incident unfolded at the Tatanagar train station, when 40-year-old Basanti Devi, hailing from Chakulia, suffered a fall from a moving train.

The incident took place at 3 pm on Monday, on platform number two of the station.

During their patrol, RPF ASI AK Pandey, Constable S Behera, and Constable R Vishwas were prompt to respond to the situation.

They quickly assisted Basanti and rushed her to Sadar Hospital for immediate medical attention.

Basanti, as a result of the fall, sustained an injury resulting in a broken left hand.

According to the information provided by RPF post in-charge SK Tiwari, Basanti was preparing to board a train to Chakulia.

In her haste, she boarded the wrong train.

Upon realizing her mistake, she attempted to disembark from the train just as it was moving.

This led to her fall from the moving train, causing her injury.

The unfortunate accident involving Basanti Devi at Tatanagar Station ended with her receiving prompt and necessary medical assistance, thanks to the vigilant RPF personnel on duty.
