Police Arrest Absconding Suspect in Mango Ulidih Ganja Case

One absconding suspect in the Mango Ulidih ganja case, has been apprehended by the police, marking a significant breakthrough.

Jamshedpur – In a significant development, the city police have arrested M K Das, an alleged suspect who had been absconding in the illicit ganja trading case in the Mango Ulidih police jurisdiction.

This arrest follows an FIR that was lodged against Manoj on December 11, 2022, at the Ulidih police station.

While other individuals implicated in the case had previously been incarcerated, Manoj had successfully avoided detention.

Yet, acting on intelligence, police recently carried out a raid on Manoj’s dwelling on Kunwar Singh Road, leading to his arrest.

The detention of M K Das is a step ahead in the ongoing probe into the illegal ganja commerce. Since the initiation of the FIR, police had been tirelessly pursuing him.

The turning point arrived when they acquired credible information concerning his location.

Promptly, a squad of officers executed a raid on Manoj’s home, culminating in his successful capture without any complications.

Subsequent to his arrest, Manoj was presented before the judiciary, which then ordered him into judicial custody.

On Friday, the police wrapped up the required procedures and transported him to prison.
