Jamshedpur Women’s University Celebrates a Year of VC Anjila Gupta’s Leadership
Teachers Association of Jamshedpur Women’s University celebrates the successful first year of Vice Chancellor Anjila Gupta, emphasizing collaborative efforts for further progress.
Jamshedpur – On June 22, the Teachers Association of Jamshedpur Women’s University commemorated the completion of the first year of Vice Chancellor Anjila Gupta’s term.
To honor this milestone, the Teachers Association hosted a special event.
Javed Ahmed, President of the Teachers Association of Jamshedpur Women’s University (TAJWU) and the University’s finance officer, addressed the gathering, reflecting on the accomplishments of the past year.

Other faculty members, including Registrar Rajendra Jaiswal and Proctor Sudhir Kumar Sahoo, also voiced their insights.
The teachers at the university pledged to collaborate with the Vice Chancellor to surmount any hurdles impeding the institution’s advancement, with the ultimate goal of elevating the university to greater heights.
In her speech, the Vice-Chancellor expressed gratitude for the event organized by the Association.
She spoke candidly about the difficulties encountered during the previous year and restated her commitment to developing the university into a comprehensive institution of excellence, laying particular emphasis on research.
Gupta announced several initiatives designed to enhance the quality of research work at the university. She also divulged plans for an upcoming international conference to be hosted by the institution.
She raised concerns regarding the scarcity of both teaching and non-teaching staff at the university and expressed hope that the government would consider this issue with the seriousness it deserved.
