Bhagwan Jagannath’s Rath Yatra on Tuesday: Devotees Set for City Tour in Jamshedpur

ISKCON’s planned city tour for Bhagwan Jagannath’s Rath Yatra in Jamshedpur all set to commence from Bistupur Ram Temple.

JAMSHEDPUR – ISKCON will be orchestrating Bhagwan Jagannath’s Rath Yatra in Jamshedpur, set to commence on Tuesday, 20th June, from the Bistupur Ram Temple.

Arrangements are in place for the event that will see kirtan troupes and city devotees ushering the chariots of Lord Jagannath, Mother Subhadra, and Balabhadra through Mousibari, all to the rhythm of the Hare Krishna-Hare Rama mahamantra.

Three chariots have been organized for the procession that will give the deities a tour of the city. Participants will be in the thousands, not just from Jamshedpur but surrounding areas too. Approximately 750 volunteers from various organizations will oversee the chariots’ operations.

The procession is to start from Bistupur Ram Mandir at 2.30 pm, proceeding through multiple landmarks, before ending at the JNAC Roundabout at Shaheed Chowk, by 7.30 pm. Refreshment stalls will line the route.

About 750 volunteers from several organizations, including the All India Ex-Servicemen Committee, will assist in the Rath Yatra.
