City Tour Scheduled Today for Pran Pratishtha Mahayagna

Acharya Shri Kishore Kunal to Lead City Tour from Shri Laxminarayan Temple

A city tour will be organized on the fourth day of the Shri Laxminarayan Pran Pratishtha Mahayagna in Jamshedpur, led by Acharya Shri Kishore Kunal.

JAMSHEDPUR – On the fourth day of the Shri Laxminarayan Pran Pratishtha Mahayagna, a city tour will be organized on Saturday afternoon, starting at 3:30 PM.

The tour will be led by Acharya Shri Kishore Kunal, the patron of Mahavir Temple in Patna, Bihar. Several other dignitaries are also expected to join.

The city tour will commence from Shri Laxminarayan Temple, proceed past Cable School, New DS Flats, through Bajrang Nagar, Gaadhabasa, Cable Basti Chowk, and Old DS Flats, and conclude back at the temple via New Town.

Acharya Shri Kishore Kunal is renowned for his philanthropic work, having established several charitable hospitals including Mahavir Cancer Institute, Mahavir Arogya Sansthan, Mahavir Netralaya, and Mahavir Vatsalya Hospital through the Mahavir Temple Trust in Patna.

He has also authored several books, with "Dalit Devo Bhava" published by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.

Kunal has served as the secretary of Mahavir Temple since 1983, overseeing its renovation and development into a model religious trust.

His initiatives have included the establishment of hospitals, financial aid to the needy, and the development of the Mundeshwari Bhavani Temple into a major pilgrimage site.

Kunal’s efforts have significantly contributed to the upliftment of Dalits and the provision of healthcare services in Bihar.

As a former Indian Police Service officer, he played a key role in mediating the Ayodhya dispute between the Vishva Hindu Parishad and Babri Masjid Action Committee.
