Burmamines’ Vinoba Ashram Residents Seek SSP’s Intervention Over Assault Incident, Allege Police Inaction

Residents of Vinoba Ashram in Burmamines reach out to the SSP for justice following a violent assault incident, blaming lack of action from local police.

JAMSHEDPUR – In the wake of an alleged mobile theft, a group of youths from Sidhu Kanu Basti purportedly assaulted residents of Vinoba Ashram in Burmamines, Jamshedpur.

The altercation escalated to severe stone pelting, leaving many inhabitants of the Ashram injured, including children and an elderly woman, who is currently in a critical condition.

Challenging the police’s handling of the situation, the women of Vinoba Ashram marched to the SSP’s office today to report the incident.

They accused Rahul Sawant, Arbaaz Shahrukh, and their associates from Sidhu Kanu Basti of ongoing threats and intimidation, including death threats.

The fear has caused a state of alarm among Vinoba Ashram residents, who have now turned to the SSP for justice due to perceived inaction by the Burmamines police.
