Prof. Gangadhar Panda Assumes Role as Vice Chancellor of Netaji Subhash University

Prof. Gangadhar Panda, previous Vice-Chancellor of Kolhan University, Chaibasa, has assumed his new role as the Vice-Chancellor of Jamshedpur-based Netaji Subhash University.

JAMSHEDPUR – Thursday marked a significant event in the academic history of Netaji Subhash University as Prof. Gangadhar Panda officially assumed his role as the new Vice Chancellor. The handover ceremony, where Chancellor MM Singh passed on the mantle to Prof. Panda, was attended by numerous university officials.

Upon assuming the position, Prof. Panda expressed his ambition to elevate the educational quality of Netaji Subhash Vishwavidyalaya to greater heights.

His appointment to the role draws upon his vast experience of 40 years in teaching and administration.

Prof. Panda began his academic journey as a lecturer in various government colleges in 1980. His noteworthy achievements include passing the rigorous UPSC exam in 1992 and assuming the role of Deputy Educational Advisor in the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

Additionally, he has contributed to academia with over 40 published books and more than 50 research papers.

Expressing his commitment to the new role, Prof. Panda vowed to work relentlessly for the university’s interests. The Netaji Subhash University community warmly welcomes its new Vice Chancellor.
