‘Mann Ka Milan Pakhwada’: Chief District Judge Urges Resolution of Pending Cases Through Mediation

JAMSHEDPUR – The Mann Ka Milan Pakhwada program, a two-week initiative to promote mediation as a means to resolve pending legal cases, was inaugurated on Monday by the District and Sessions Judge Anil Kumar Mishra.
Mishra launched a mobile awareness van from the court premises and encouraged the public to participate in the program.
Judge Mishra emphasized the benefits of mediation, noting it could save both time and money for parties involved in legal disputes.
He urged citizens to utilize this opportunity to expedite the resolution of their pending cases.
DLSA (District Legal Services Authority), Jamshedpur Secretary Nitish Nilesh Sanga further elaborated that the Mann Ka Milan Pakhwada program will run from May 29 to June 14, 2023, across the entire district.
As part of the program, extensive efforts are being made to educate the public about the process of mediation in various legal aid clinics, including the Dalsa office.
The program aims to maximize the resolution of disputes through settlement and execute court cases more swiftly.
Mobile vans have been deployed to various locations to spread awareness and provide information about the program and mediation.
On the first day, pamphlets were distributed at Nyay Sadan Bhawan, Front Office, Mediation Hall, Reception, Civil Court Complex, and others.
The program is receiving significant support from mediators, legal council members, panel lawyers, PLV, and police officers, ensuring its success.
The initiative is also being conducted in different blocks of East Singhbhum district, including Ghatshila subdivision court.
