Major Reshuffle in Jharkhand Bureaucracy: Three IAS Officers Transferred and given new responsibilities.

RANCHI – In a significant reshuffle of the Jharkhand bureaucracy, three Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers have been transferred and given new postings.

The announcement was made late in the evening by the state’s Personnel Department.

Manoj Jaiswal, previously serving as the Special Secretary in the Energy Department, has been appointed as the Commissioner in-charge of South Chhotanagpur.

In another move, Rashi Prakash Jha has been assigned to the post of Additional Secretary in the Department of Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare. Jha’s expertise will be a valuable asset in the state’s health and welfare sector.

Meanwhile, Manmohan Prasad, who was serving as the Additional Secretary in Home, Jail and Disaster Management, has been moved to the Industries Department as Additional Secretary.

Prasad’s wealth of experience will be utilized to strengthen the industrial sector of the state.

This bureaucratic shuffle is a routine procedure and is aimed at improving the functioning of different government departments and bringing in fresh perspectives.

The officers are expected to take over their new roles immediately, following the procedures laid down by the Personnel Department.
