Jamshedpur – Ananda Marga Universal Relief Team Global Jamshedpur has been recognized by the Voluntary Blood Donors Association (VBDA) for their outstanding contributions to blood donation.

The team was presented with a memento in a ceremony held at Michael John Auditorium in acknowledgment of their efforts in donating the maximum unit of blood.

Tata Workers Union committee member and relief team members Gyanranjan, Yogesh, Ramesh Rao, Ravindra Prasad, and Sameer Sarkar received the honor on behalf of the Ananda Marga team.

They expressed their gratitude and reiterated their commitment to continue their life-saving work.

The Ananda Marga team organizes blood donation camps at the Jamshedpur Blood Bank on the last Saturday of each month.

Blood donors who participate in these camps are honored with a sapling as a token of appreciation for their valuable contributions.

Approximately 800 units of blood are donated each year through these camps, benefitting both the Jamshedpur Blood Bank and the MGM Government Blood Bank.

This involves about 24 blood donation camps annually.

This recognition serves to highlight the crucial role of voluntary blood donation in healthcare and the lifesaving potential of such generous contributions.
