CBSE Announces Class 10 and Class 12 Board Exam Results

Jamshedpur: There were happy faces in almost all CBSE schools in Jamshedpur as boys and girls were beaming with joy after having learnt that they have passed in the CBSE Xth and XIIth board examinations.

The results were good and most of the boys and girls did well too.

The details of the toppers and the school pass percentage is still not out and would take some time, according to the principal of a school.

Earlier, in the morning, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the results of the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations conducted in February, March, and April. Students can now access their results on the official CBSE results websites, resuts.cbse.nic.in or cbseresuts.nic.in, using their roll number, school number, and admit card ID.

The overall pass percentage for Class 10 stands at 93.12 per cent and for Class 12, it is 87.33 per cent. Direct links to access CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 results for 2023 are available on the website.

Apart from the CBSE results website, students can also check their board exam results on DigiLocker and UMANG platforms.

The results show that 44,297 students scored 95 per cent or above in the CBSE Class 10 board exam. Meanwhile, 1,95,799 students secured 90 per cent or above.

School-wise, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) recorded a 99.14 per cent pass rate, Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) had a 98 per cent pass rate, and Independent schools had a 95.27 per cent pass rate. The pass rates for Central Tibetan Schools Administration (CTSA), government-aided, and government schools were 93.86 per cent, 81.57 per cent, and 80.38 per cent respectively.

Girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 94.25 per cent, compared to boys’ 92.27 per cent. The best-performing region was Trivandrum, with a 99.91 per cent pass rate, while Guwahati had the lowest pass rate of 76.90 per cent.

Despite these achievements, the overall pass percentage for Class 10 this year dropped by 1.28 percentage points from last year’s 94.40 per cent.
