East Singhbhum District Carrom Organization Holds AGM and Referee Seminar
Initiative Launched to Promote Carrom in Schools, District Tournament Planned
The East Singhbhum District Carrom Organization held its AGM and Referee Seminar at Tulsi Bhavan in Bistupur, aiming to promote the sport among youth and introduce new rules to referees.
JAMSHEDPUR – The East Singhbhum District Carrom Organization conducted its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Referee Seminar at Tulsi Bhavan in Bistupur.
The meeting focused on promoting carrom in city schools to engage more young people in the sport.
A district-level tournament was also planned.
The referee seminar introduced referees to the new rules and recent changes in the game.
This initiative is part of the CISCE calendar, with zonal and regional tournaments organized, allowing players to advance to the national level.
Instructors Ashfaq Ahmed and D.P. Valmiki led the referee seminar.
The meeting was attended by Secretary D. Gopi Rao, Joint Secretary Arun Kumar, Kundan Kumar Chandra, Pradeep Mukherjee, Iqbal Singh, K. Venugopal Rao, Surjeet Singh, Murli, Mohammad Wasim, Manoj Pandey, Suchindra Singh, Ranjit Singh, Govind Mukhi, Udyan Nair, Amul Dobharaj, and others.
