Lions Club of Jamshedpur Organizes Anemia Check-Up Camp for Girl Students at RMS High School
The Lions Club of Jamshedpur organizes anemia check-up camp for girls in classes XI and XII at RMS High School, providing education and essential iron supplements.
Jamshedpur: An anemia check-up camp was organized for girl students of classes XI and XII at RMS High School in Khutadih Sonari on Sunday under the leadership of Lions Club of Jamshedpur President Shiv Shankar Gadia.
In addition to the check-up, an informative discussion on the prevention and treatment of anemia was held for the participants.
A total of 53 girls underwent examination during the camp, and 12 of them were identified as anemic. Essential iron supplements were provided to these students to help address their condition.
The anemia check-up camp was arranged by club member Dr. Banita Sahai and the team from “Indchemie Health Specialties.
Several Lions Club members, including President Shiv Shankar Gadia, Vinita Shah, Stota Dasgupta, Madan Keshari, and Namita Bhattacharya, were present during the event. School Principal Dr. Parineeta Shukla and her team supported the program, contributing to its success.
