Tragic Accident in Jamshedpur Claims Life of a 14-Year-Old Student, Father Injured

Jamshedpur – A 14-year-old boy, Lalit Prasad, lost his life when the scooty he was riding with his father was hit by an unknown bus. The tragic accident occurred today in front of Tata Steel’s power house gate, under the jurisdiction of the Jugsalai police station in Jamshedpur Thursday morning.
The father, Vikas Prasad, sustained injuries in the incident.
The accident took place when Vikas Prasad was on his way to Beldih Church School in Bistupur after dropping off his son Lalit, who was a student of Class VIII at the school.

A speeding yellow bus coming from behind rammed into their scooty, injuring both father and son. The young boy succumbed to his injuries on the spot.
Vikas Prasad managed to take his son to Tata Main Hospital, where doctors declared the teenager dead upon arrival.
The grieving father recounted the events leading up to the accident, stating that they were simply going about their daily routine when the tragedy struck.

Upon receiving the news, Jugsalai police arrived at Tata Main Hospital to initiate an investigation into the incident.
Kunal Kumar, the officer in charge at Jugsalai police station, confirmed that the collision involved an unknown bus and that the investigation is currently underway.
The police are urging anyone with information regarding the accident or the bus involved to come forward and assist in their ongoing investigation.
The accident and loss of a young life has shocked the entire city and now questions are raised about traffic safety and the need for stricter regulations to prevent such incidents in the future.
