XLRI wins EFMD Global Case Writing Competition 2022, showcasing AI & ML impact on UAE trucking firm, highlighting institute’s global excellence.

Jamshedpur – The Xavier School of Management (XLRI) has emerged victorious in the highly esteemed EFMD Global Case Writing Competition Award 2022.

Professors Trilochan Tripathi and Benudhar Sahu of XLRI’s Case Research and Simulation Development Center (XL-CRSDC) authored the winning case study.

The study was recognized as the best in the Middle East and North Africa business category by The American University in Cairo (AUC) School of Business, USA.

The case study examines the business model of a UAE-based trucking company, focusing on the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) on their operations.

The study delves into the use of AI and ML to improve customer service response times in case of errors and outlines the research conducted before implementing innovative ideas.

Upon receiving the award, Professor Trilochan Tripathi, Associate Dean of XLRI Case Research and Simulation Development Centre, expressed his delight at the institute’s achievement in the global competition, emphasizing XLRI’s continued commitment to quality.

Professor Benudhar Shahu echoed these sentiments, describing the experience of participating in the international competition as a proud moment.
