PM Vishwakarma Scheme Job Boost in Jamshedpur

Officials Rally for Artisans’ Skill Enhancement and Financial Support

In a significant push for traditional artisans and craftsmen in Jamshedpur, the PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Scheme is set to transform lives with targeted training, financial aid, and recognition, aiming to uplift and recognize the invaluable contribution of these workers to India’s rich cultural heritage.

JAMSHEDPUR – In the PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Scheme’s initiative, a noteworthy development has taken place in Jamshedpur.

Officials have meticulously planned to facilitate training sessions lasting 5-7 days.

Each participating artisan is entitled to a daily stipend of Rs 500 during these sessions.

Upon completion, a substantial e-voucher for Rs 15,000 will be awarded for tool kits.

Aimed at 18 traditional disciplines, the scheme encapsulates a wide array of artisans.

From carpenters to tailors, the diversity of skills covered is vast.

Recognizing artisans as Vishwakarma (Traditional Artisans) is a scheme highlight.

This recognition opens doors to several benefits under the scheme.

Thousands of district artisans working in various crafts stand to benefit directly.

"The scheme promises a renaissance for our traditional crafts and their creators," remarked an official.

At a high-level review meeting, Shri Ananya Mittal led discussions on enhancing the scheme’s reach.

Top officials, including Mr. Manish Kumar and Mr. Piyush Sinha, collaborated on strategies for effective implementation.

"A synergy between different departments is crucial for the scheme’s success," stated Mr. Kumar.

Shri Mittal emphasized the importance of widespread publicity and easy application processes.

Instructions were given to ensure benefits reach a maximum number of eligible artisans.

To expedite the second phase’s verification, specific directives were issued.

The meeting underscored the scheme’s potential to alter the lives of artisans positively.
