BJP Leader Babulal Marandi Visits Jailed Party Member Abhay Singh, Alleges Harassment of Party Leaders
JAMSHEDPUR – The BJP Legislature Party leader and former Chief Minister of the state, Babulal Marandi, visited Ghaghidih Central Jail on Sunday afternoon to meet jailed BJP leader Abhay Singh, who is accused of disturbing harmony and has been named in Kadma Shashtri Nagar case.
Marandi spent time talking to Singh, gathering information about the incident, and expressed concerns over a possible political conspiracy and harassment.

Marandi has been in the city for two days, staying at the Circuit House before his visit to the jail. After the jail visit, Marandi is scheduled to attend a meeting at Kashidih Maidan.
His presence in the city has heated up local politics, particularly within the BJP.
Singh informed Marandi that he was not present in Kadma on the day or night of the incident. Marandi questioned the police’s decision to arrest and jail Singh, suggesting that innocent people are being implicated in the case as part of a well-planned political conspiracy.
According to Marandi, the police’s FIR report mentions that a particular community engaged in stone-pelting, weapon demonstrations, and attacks on people sitting in the temple.
However, instead of arresting the culprits, the police are detaining individuals unrelated to the incident.

Marandi cited the example of Chandan Choubey, who was arrested and jailed after he had submitted a memorandum to the SSP.
Marandi announced that the party would protest in response to the perceived injustices and the resulting anger of the common people.
