Senior BJP leader Ravindra Rai demands release of Abhay Singh, other party workers
Jamshedpur: The issue of BJP leader Abhay Singh’s arrest in connection with the Kadma Shashtri Nagar communal violence case has now taken a political turn as senior BJP leaders have joined forces to condemn the action taken against BJP leaders and workers and have termed the arrests as ‘repressive and unjustified’.
The arrest of Jamshedpur BJP leader Abhay Singh is now being criticized by the BJP leadership.
Along with the state BJP president Deepak Prakash, the former BJP state president Ravindra Rai and BJP leader Praveen Singh have also arrived in Jamshedpur to show their support for Abhay Singh.
Ravindra Rai has accused the state government of running a “Tughlaq government” and harassing Hindus.

He alleged that the administration was taking action against Hindus at the behest of the government and that Hindu leaders were being sent to jail unnecessarily.
He demanded that the government should conditionally release Abhay Singh.
The BJP will not sit silently and watch this,” said Ravindra Rai, warning the government of consequences if Abhay Singh was not released.
Abhay Singh was arrested recently in connection with Kadma Shashtri Nagar communal violence case.
The BJP has been alleging that the state government is targeting its workers and leaders in an attempt to weaken the party, a charge that the government has denied.
The political situation in Jharkhand is becoming increasingly volatile, with the BJP and the state government locked in a bitter battle.
The BJP has been using strong language against the government, accusing it of being anti-Hindu and targeting BJP workers and leaders.
