Top INDIA Alliance Leaders United at Ulgulan Nyaya Rally to Call for Change

At a significant political event in Ranchi, top leaders of the ‘India’ alliance convened at the Ulgulan Nyaya rally to emphasize the upcoming Lok Sabha elections as a crucial battle for the Constitution and democracy. They collectively called for the ousting of the current government at the Centre.

RANCHI – The rally, held at Prabhat Tara Maidan on Sunday, became a symbol of solidarity and defiance against what the alliance terms ‘dictatorial forces’.

Two empty chairs on the stage represented Hemant Soren and Arvind Kejriwal, currently incarcerated, drawing attention to their absence which the speakers declared as part of a deliberate conspiracy.

They urged the public to respond through their votes.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge voiced strong support for Hemant Soren, praising his courage and resilience in the face of imprisonment.

"He is not afraid of jail. We all are behind him. We are not going to be destroyed by putting two Chief Ministers in jail," Kharge asserted.

He also criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for exploiting tribal identities for electoral gain without offering genuine respect or solutions.

Kalpana Soren, reading a message from her jailed husband Hemant Soren, relayed his words of resilience and accusation against the central government.

"This is the first time after independence that Chief Ministers of opposition parties are being put in jail just before the elections," the message highlighted, pointing out the systematic oppression faced by tribal communities and the opposition.

Akhilesh Yadav, the former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister from the Samajwadi Party, predicted a backlash from the voters against what he described as dictatorial tactics by the central government.

"The public will take revenge for this injustice with each vote," he stated, framing the election as a pivotal fight for democracy and the Constitution.

Tejashwi Yadav, former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, drew parallels between their plight and the mythological figure Lord Shri Krishna, born in captivity but destined for greatness. He emphasized the unyielding spirit of the opposition, regardless of the challenges posed by incarcerations.

The rally also saw participation from a wide range of political figures, including Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s wife Sunita Kejriwal, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, and representatives from various other parties and factions, all uniting under the banner of the ‘India’ alliance to champion democracy and constitutional rights.
