Jamshedpur Kadma youth Booked for Posting Provocative Content on Social Media

Jamshedpur: The district administration of Jamshedpur has been closely monitoring social media in the wake of the recent communal flare-up in Kadma Shashtri Nagar. The Kadma police have registered an FIR against a youth U Akhtar in connection with a Facepost post in which he allegedly used provocative words.

The administration has been monitoring social media content for objectionable content.

As per the orders of the Deputy Commissioner, an FIR has been lodged against a youth named U Akhtar for using objectionable and indecent words on Facebook against a particular community.

Executive Magistrate Nisha Kumari filed the FIR under Section 295A of the Indian Penal Code, accusing him of inciting people of a particular religion and spreading social hatred.

The district administration has urged all residents of the district to refrain from publicizing or circulating social media posts that incite hatred or create tension in society.

They have warned that strict legal action will be taken against anyone found violating this directive.

The administration has underlined the importance of responsible use of social media, particularly during times of social unrest.

The administration has advised individuals to exercise caution and sensitivity when posting content online to avoid spreading hate or misinformation.
