Kudmi Vikas Samiti Defends BJP MP Bidyut Mahato Against Social Media Allegations
Samiti Members Rally in Support of Bidyut Baran Mahato, Denounce Baseless Claims
In a show of solidarity, the Kudmi Vikas Samiti has come forward to counteract allegations circulated on social media against BJP MP Bidyut Baran Mahato, asserting their unwavering support for him.
JAMSHEDPUR – Kudmi Vikas Samiti and other Kudmi outfits have demanded action against social media handles allegedly spreading rumours against BJP MP Bidyut Baran Mahato and hinting that the Mahato community is unhappy with him.
The group staged a demonstration at the SSP office, where they presented a memorandum to SSP Kishore Kaushal, addressing concerns over a social media campaign they deemed unfounded and misleading.
The contentious issue stemmed from claims that the Kudmi community was disenchanted with MP Bidyut Baran Mahato, supposedly evidenced by banners in rural areas criticizing his lack of visits during his term.
Vinay Mahato, a representative of the Samiti, refuted these allegations, clarifying that the social media reports and the purported banners did not reflect the community’s sentiments.
Contrary to the claims, the Samiti members affirmed the community’s satisfaction with Bidyut Mahato’s candidacy, expressing a collective desire for his continued leadership.
Members said that the Kudmi Vikas Samiti’s action underscores their commitment to truth and the importance of verifying information before disseminating it, especially in the politically charged atmosphere of social media.
