Guardians Protest as DBMS English High School Fails 35 Class 9 Students, Allege Pressure to Take TC

Jamshedpur: The management of DBMS English High School in Kadma has failed 35 students studying in class 9, and is reportedly pressuring them to take transfer certificates.

In response, parents of the affected students, under the leadership of the Jamshedpur Abhibhawak Sangh, met with the District Education Officer to express their concerns and demands.

The parents have requested that special classes be arranged for the students to help them catch up on their studies, or that they be allowed to repeat the class.

They expressed dissatisfaction with the school’s management and their handling of the situation, and urged the Education Officer to take appropriate action.

The District Education Officer has assured the parents that the matter will be resolved and that the affected students will receive the support they need to continue their education.

The incident has sparked concern among the parents, with some questioning the school’s policies and practices.

One parent said that education is a fundamental right, and every child deserves the opportunity to receive a quality education.

She said that the government and school authorities must work together to ensure that all students have access to education and are not unfairly disadvantaged due to administrative issues or school policies.

The parents have called for action to be taken to address the concerns and to provide the necessary support to ensure that these students are able to succeed in their studies.

One parent wanted to know why should the parents and students be held responsible for the school’s failure in providing good education? She said that the parents pay the fee and send their children to school. Why should the school not be held responsible if the students are not doing well in academics?
