MP Bidyut Mahato dedicates the Award to citizens of Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: Bidyut Baran Mahato, the Jamshedpur MP, has been conferred with Sansad Ratna Award 2023 on Saturday in New Delhi at KG Marg New Maharashtra Sadan. He received this award for the second consecutive time for his outstanding performance as a parliamentarian.

During the Sansad Ratna Samman function in New Delhi, MP Bidyut Baran Mahato received the Sansad Ratna Award for the second year in a row. He received a shawl and commendation as well as the prize.

13 MPs, including Mr. Bidyut Mahato, have been named by the committee appointed to choose the Sansad Ratna for the year 2023 based on their overall performance.

The selection committee is made up of notable lawmakers and representatives of civil society.

The selection committee was headed by the Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal and co-chaired by former Chief Election Commissioner S Krishnamurthy.

The committee consisted of eminent parliamentarians and members of civil society.

This honor has been given to 13 MPs, in which 8 are members of Lok Sabha and 5 are members of Rajya Sabha.

The Member of Parliament from Jamshedpur, Mr. Bidyut Baran Mahto has been selected for the second time on the basis of overall performance.

The prize recipients received congratulations and well wishes from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who also urged them to keep up their efforts to improve the legislative process.

The Member of Parliament Bidyut Baran Mahato conveyed his appreciation and commitment to the people of his parliamentary constituency, Jamshedpur, and promised to address all issues concerning the public interest in the Lok Sabha. He dedicated the honor to the citizens of Jamshedpur.
