Ranchi is set to host the Women’s Hockey Olympic Qualifier 2024, with free entry for spectators at Jaipal Singh Astroturf Stadium.
Jamshedpur- Ranchi, the capital city of Jharkhand, is gearing up to host the FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifier 2024 for women from January 13 to 19.
The Jharkhand Government, in collaboration with Hockey India, has finalized the arrangements by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
Originally planned in China, the event was relocated to Ranchi following China’s direct qualification to the Paris Olympics 2024.
All matches of the Women’s Hockey Olympic Qualifier 2024 will be held at the Jaipal Singh Astroturf Hockey Stadium in Marang Gomke, Ranchi.
The city is all set to welcome teams and spectators, ensuring a seamless and successful sporting event.
In a move to boost local engagement and support, entry to the stadium for spectators will be free of charge.
