Adityapur police in action to stop traffic snarls, law and order disruption

Jamshedpur: Adityapur police has swung into action following the instructions of the SP of Seraikela district to resolve the issue of regular traffic snarls.

Adityapur police officer in-charge has increased vigil and has adopted a strict stance against traffic snarls.

The area spanning from the road behind the railway gate and Vikas Bhavan and also near the urban health center has been witnessing regular traffic jams.

The officer in-charge Rajan Kumar has launched a special drive from Tuesday.

As a part of the drive, daily vegetable vendors and meat, ish and chicken vendors have been instructed to set up shop away from the road.

Apart from this, the exercise to repair the CCTV cameras of all the major squares and intersections of the area has been intensified.

At the same time, he also said that additional CCTV cameras would be installed.

He has instructed the banks and jewelery shops of the area to get CCTV cameras repaired in their respective establishments as well as to ensure the arrangement of security guards.

The station in-charge said that a special team has been formed to keep an eye on the hoodlums and traffic violators in the new year.

He appealed to the public to be aware and alert and said that if anyone has any kind of problem, he or she should immediately inform him or other senior officers of the district.

He said that whoever disturbs the peace will not be spared at any cost.
