General Manager SK Sharma of UCIL denies allegations, asserts adherence to Companies Act and Rules, and affirms readiness to face independent investigation.

JAMSHEDPUR – General Manager SK Sharma of Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL) organized a press conference to deny allegations leveled against his company.

UCIL, which works under the Companies Act and Rules, found itself at the center of allegations, which Sharma describes as motivated by malicious intent.

He asserted that the company has taken strict action for mistakes noticed and is ready to face any investigation by an independent agency.

He said that the allegations against CMD and SK Sharma were made by an officer of the company, creating a ripple of concern.

Promotions, such as those given to Surojit Das, were carried out as per company policy rules, and jobs were provided to relatives under the displacement and rehabilitation policy, Sharma clarified.

He further emphasized that he has been made additional secretary of CMD Ramendra Gupta and former CMD Diwakar Acharya, strengthening the administrative structure.

Most importantly, he confirmed that there is no ongoing inquiry or complaint filed against him by the Central Vigilance Commission, putting to rest concerns of irregularities within the corporation.
