2 arrested in Birsanagar area for selling Brown Sugar

Jamshedpur: Birsanagar police have arrested two youths on the charges of selling brown sugar Monday night near Gudiya Maidan under the jurisdiction of Birsa Nagar police station area.

On getting information about this, Birsanagar police station raided the site and caught both the youths.

The names of these youths have been reported as R Karmakar and A Thapa.

43 packets of Brown Sugar were seized.

Both are being interrogated and preparations are being made to send them to jail.

The activities of those indulging in illegal business of narcotics in and around Jamshedpur has seen an uptick in recent times.

Brown sugar is being sold on the sly in many areas including Mango, Birsanagar and Sitaramdera.
