TEEP holds session on use of ‘storytelling and digital technology’

Jamshedpur: The field of education is evolving over time, with contemporary methods finding place in classroom in a traditional setup.

Keeping this in view, Tata Education Excellence Program (TEEP) hosted Mr. Balaji Jadhav as speaker for an online session on July 26, 2021, to share his knowledge on Use of Storytelling and Digital Technology in Education.

Mr. Balaji is working as Assistant teacher at Zila Parishad School, Vijaynagar, Satara, Maharastra. His work on use of digital tools to make learning easy for students with limited means in rural area got him featured as one of the four best educators of India by search giant Google in 2015.

He also used the technique of storytelling to ensure that learning never stops for students despite disruption caused by Covid-19 lockdown, which was acknowledged internationally by HBN Creativity & Inclusive Awards, declared in December 2020.

Mr. Balaji motivated teachers and principals to become the change agents in these turbulent times and encouraged them to use widely available online tools which are very cost effective and enhances the teaching and learning experience.

More than 150+ teachers and principals across various schools in Jamshedpur participated in this session.
