Hemant govt will do everything to help farmers: Samir Mohanty

Jamshedpur: Baharagora MLA Samir Mohanty held a Janata Darbar at Saara panchayat and listened to the plaints and pleas of the villagers. He assured them all help on behalf of JMM-led government of Hemant Soren.

MLA Samir Mohanty was not only present in the Janata Darbar late Sunday night but he also paid heed to all the pleas and plaints put before him by the villagers.

The MLA also received several applications for pension, PM Awas housing and toilets at different places.

The villagers also requested him to ensure that transformers are installed at different places to help them in irrigating their land.

The MLA asked the JBVNL officials to ensure that transformers are installed at the required places.

Samir Mohanty while addressing the villagers said that some people are trying to confuse farmers.

He appealed to all the villagers to know about the historic steps being taken by the Hemant government of the state in the interest of the farmers.

He asked all the farmers to apply to the bank for the KCC loan waivers extended by the Hemant government.

He said that the Hemant government of the state has waived the KCC loan of the farmers and the BJP is not happy with it as farmers’ paddy is being purchased at a reasonable price.
