Jewelry and Cash Worth ₹8 Lakh Stolen from Tata Steel Employee’s Home
Thieves Break Into Neeraj Chaudhary’s Quarter in Golmuri, Steal Valuables and Cash.
Unidentified thieves broke into the locked residence of Tata Steel employee Neeraj Chaudhary in Golmuri, stealing jewelry, cash, and other valuables worth approximately ₹8 lakh.
JAMSHEDPUR – A major theft occurred in the Golmuri police station area where the locked quarter of Tata Steel employee Neeraj Chaudhary, located in Nildih Colony, was broken into by unknown thieves.
The incident took place on the night of August 17-18 when Chaudhary was away on a family trip to Puri, having left on August 15 by Purushottam Express.
On Sunday, neighbors noticed the broken lock on Quarter No. D-10 and informed Chaudhary about the burglary.
Upon returning to Jamshedpur, Chaudhary discovered that the thieves had stolen jewelry, approximately ₹50,000 in cash, and several other items from the almirah.
Additionally, the burglars took away utensils, watches, and other valuables.
Neeraj Chaudhary has filed a complaint against unknown individuals at the Golmuri police station.
The Golmuri police have arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation.
