D D Tripathy pays homage to Netaji on his 125th birth anniversary

Jamshedpur: Senior BJP leader and national general secretary of Sawarn Mahasangh Foundation of India D D Tripathy today paid homage to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on his 125th birth anniversary by garlanding his stature at Aambagan in Sakchi.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Tripathy said that India is the only nation in the country which continues to remain ungrateful to its real heroes. He said that the country still treats Netaji as a war criminal. He said that although the present government has appealed to everyone to celebrate his birth anniversary as Parakram Diwas, however a nation that does not own up is own heroes can not do justice to its ow history or show any ‘Parakram or bravery’.

Mr. Tripathy said that the nation would pay true homage to Netaji only if the Parliament corrects its own past mistakes and passes a resolution accepting Netaji as a ‘pride of nation’.

Those who garlanded Netaji’s statue and paid homage to him included Raj Kumar Verma, Surendra Nath Mishra, Birendra Singh, Hridyananad Tiwari, Mohan Rai, Prabhakar Mishra, Sanjay Kumar Sharma, Vinod Tiwary, Kameshwar Pandey, Vijay Singh and Guddu Srivastava.
