551st Prakash Parv celebrated with piety, no nagar kirtan this year

Jamshedpur: The 551st Prakash Parv of the first Guru of Sikhs Guru Nanak Dev ji is being celebrated in the entire country with traditional religiosity and piety. In Jamshedpur too, Guru Nanak Dev ji’s birth anniversary was celebrated with simplicity and devotion.

Ardas was held in different Gurudwaras and a large number of Sikh devotees took part in it and sought blessings of the Guru.

No Nagar Kirtan was organised this year keeping the coronavirus pandemic in mind. However, the members of Sikh community observed the day in their houses and remembered the Guru and sought his blessings. They also vowed to follow the path shown by the first Guru of Sikhs Guru Nanak Dev ji.
