Coronavirus claims 1 more life in Jharkhand on Friday, total deaths 895

356 new cases found, 401 cured and discharged

Ranchi: Corona has been on a slide down in Jharkhand for quite a few days. Although, on Friday, one person succumbed to the virus in the district and 356 new cases were detected in different parts of the state, the trends are definitely encouraging as the disease seems to be retreated slowly.

According to the official data for Friday, coronavirus has caused 1 death in the state. 356 new cases were detected on Friday and 401 patients have been cured and discharged from different hospitals of the state.

As per data, till Friday, 35,76,191 samples have been tested in the state. Out of these, 1,03,899 samples have tested positive.

However, the state has only 4,639 active cases for now, as 98,365 patients have already been cured and discharged from different hospitals and home quarantine.

Till date, the pandemic has caused 895 deaths in the state.

East Singhbhum is the worst-affected district of the state. However, corona has caused no deaths in that district for the last two days.
