Dr. Ajoy Kumar arrives in Jamshedpur, energises Congress rank and file

Jamshdpur: Dr. Ajoy Kumar, ex-MP of Jamshedpur and ex-president of Jharkhand Congress arrived in Jamshedpur on Saturday amidst a warm and raucous welcome from fellow Youth Congress workers. This is his first visit to Jamshedpur after re-joining Congress. He had quit Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on September 27, 2020 and joined Congress.

Hundreds of Youth Congress workers led by the state general secretary of Jharkhand State Youth Congress Dr Paritosh Singh and district general secretary Sushil Tiwary received him and according him a warm welcome near Sakchi Jubilee Park.

Congress supporters led by Youth Congress District General Secretary Sushil Tiwary welcomed him with traditional musical instruments like dhol and nagaras.

Dr. Ajoy Kumar accorded warm welcome in Jamshedpur by Youth Congress workers.

Speaking on the occasion Dr. Paritosh Singh said that Dr. Ajoy Kumar’s comeback to Congress has energised the youth. His presence would benefit the party in a big way.

Overwhelmed by the warm welcome, Dr. Ajoy Kumar said that youth are the future of this country and Youth Congress is the backbone of Congress party. He said that it is only Congress party which would oppose the anti-labour and anti-farmer policies of Modi government.

Those who took a lead in welcoming him on his arrival in the city included former district president Ravindr aJha, state general secretary Dr. Paritosh Singh, national general secretary of Youth Intuc Nitesh Raj, Ambuj Kumar, Rama Shankar Pandey, Pawan Tiwari, Aamir Sohail, Bijendra Sahu, Usha yadav and scores of other Youth Congress workers.
