ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 Exam 2020 results announced, no toppers’ list this time

99.34% pass ICSE, while 96.84% qualify 12th board

Jamshedpur: The results for ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 Examinations 2020 have been announced today 10th July exactly at 3 p.m.

In all, more than 2,07,902 lakh students wrote the ICSE 10th Board exams and out of them 2,06,525 have been declared passed. There were 112,668 boys, while 95,234 students were girls.

For ISC, 88,409 students wrote the board exams, out of which 47,429 were boys and 40,980 were girls.

Every year, schools normally give away the mark sheet, but owing to lockdown situation, it would be provided in digital manner via Digi Locker. Students need to create a new ID or register to get their ISC or ICSE mark sheets on digi locker app. The council has made it clear that mark sheets will be available within 48 hours of the declaration of results.

Since exam of all papers were not conducted the council released the results on the basis of special computation formula.

The council has also said that due to exceptional circumstances, this year CISCE will not publish a merit list for ICSE or ISC.

Examinees can see their results by visiting the Council website at cisce.org and results.cisce.org and can also use the careers portal of the council and through SMS.

The school principals can also see the results of their students through the careers portal using their credentials.

It may be recalled that the CISCEE had cancelled the examinations for the remaining papers of ICSE Class X and ISC Class XII scheduled from July 1 to July 14, 2020.

The Council had said that the results of all candidates appearing in the ICSE and ISC year 2020 examinations will be declared on or before 15th July 2020.

In a circular issued to the heads of CISCE affiliated schools dated June 26, 2020, the council had made it clear that the results of candidates for the remaining papers in the ICSE and ISC Year 2020 Examinations will be declared as per methodology decided and adopted by CISCE.

The council had also decided to give the examinees an option to improve their marks by choosing to write the papers at a later date if they are not happy with the marks that they obtain through marking formula for the papers for which exams have been cancelled.

In Jamshedpur too, most of the students have passed with flying colours. A few examinees that we spoke to over telephone expressed happiness that the council managed to sort out the issue of incomplete exam very well keeping the interest of the students in mind.

Surabhi Agarwal of Kerala Samajam too was a bit nervous just before the the results and she thanks everyone around her for their support. However, she accepts that the results to be announced after a few hours are making her nervous.

However, we confirmed after the results were announced that she has passed the exams with flying colours with 92.5% and we are very happy about her success.
