Rs 25,000 loan demanded for street vendors
Jamshedpur: Members of Samyukta Yuva Sangh, a city-based social outfit, have demanded Rs 25,000 loan aid for street vendors and small-scale traders.
In a letter handed over to East Singhbhum DC Ravi Shankar Shukla on Thursday, the outfit members said the Rs 10,000 loan offered by the government during the COVID-19 pandemic was not enough.
¨. Hence we request the Hemant Soren government to provide Rs 25,000 to all vendors,¨ said Ravi Singh Chandel, state president of the outfit.
