Family members said doctors initially suggested referring the patient elsewhere. However, they later offered surgery or medicine-based treatment.
Virendra Sharma claimed his family preferred medicine-based treatment. Moreover, he said the family faced financial difficulties.
The relatives alleged doctors pressured them for surgery. Meanwhile, they were assured successful treatment after payment.
The family deposited Rs 41,000 for the operation on Thursday morning. However, doctors reportedly performed surgery during evening hours.
Relatives claimed the patient’s condition worsened after shifting from the operation theater. Meanwhile, he died shortly after reaching the general ward.
Family members alleged doctors failed to explain the exact cause. Moreover, they accused the hospital of serious medical negligence.
One relative said the family repeatedly sought clear answers. “Nobody explained how his condition suddenly collapsed,” the relative claimed.

Hospital authorities later informed police about the disturbance. However, officers reached the spot and calmed protesting relatives.
