3 arrested for firing at contractor’s car in Kadma

Jamshedpur: The city police have arrested 3 persons and solved the case of firing at a car parked at the residence of a contractor Rishikesh Chandravanshi Saturday night. All the three arrested accused have been sent to judicial custody.

Police sources said that the firing was done in connection with an old land dispute with Rishikesh Chandravanshi.

The police said that the arrested accused also revealed that they had also fired near Dua Honda Showroom at Sakchi while trying to flee after firing in Kadma.

The Dy SP said that one desi katta, one auto and a Scooty have been seized from the possession of the accused.

He said that those who have been arrested in the case have been identified as Mohit Singh, Akash Singh alias Chhotu Bachhan and Rajesh Sao alias Gabbar. All three have been involved in other criminal cases too.

He said that two more accused are absconding and claimed that the absconding accused too would be arrested soon.
