JAMSHEDPUR – Danfit International, in collaboration with California Television Global, is set to host a grand classical dance baithaki titled “Navdurga Nrityam” on March 24, 2026, at its Kadma office in Jamshedpur, beginning at 6:00 PM on the occasion of Chaitra Navratri.
The cultural evening will be dedicated to the nine sacred forms of Goddess Durga. Young classical dancers from Jamshedpur and West Bengal will perform at the event.
Three distinguished guest performers from Kolkata are scheduled to present solo recitals. Devleena Lahiri will perform solo Kathak. Anshika Das will present solo Bharatanatyam. Meanwhile, Adriza Choudhury will perform solo Odissi.
The Navdurga Nrityam event is being directed by Ms. Mistu Mukherjee. She heads the organisation as Director of Danfit International. Her artistic vision is central to the evening’s programming.
The stated objective of the event is to promote Indian classical dance traditions and foster cultural connect among younger audiences. The programme is designed as a confluence of devotion, dance, and spirituality.
Dance and devotion events in Jamshedpur have drawn strong audiences in recent years. Events such as the Sur Saptak competition drew over 700 participants. On the other hand, the Jamshedpur Public School Kathak victory at Cuttack Mahotsav reflected the city’s classical dance strength.
The organisers have extended a warm invitation to art lovers and citizens of the city.
