Lions Club of Jamshedpur distributes 50 saplings to Farenga villagers under monsoon plantation drive.

Lions Club of Jamshedpur distributed 50 fruit-bearing and other saplings among villagers in Farenga, East Singhbhum, as part of their environmental initiative.

JAMSHEDPUR – On August 24, under the direction of Lions Club of Jamshedpur President M.J.F. Lion Bharat Singh, members of the club distributed 50 fruit-bearing and other saplings to the residents of Farenga village in East Singhbhum.

The distribution was aimed at promoting environmental conservation, with the monsoon season providing ideal conditions for the growth of new plants.

Lion Karan Gorai, a member of the club, explained the importance of the initiative, stating that the rainy season is particularly beneficial for planting.

He said, “We have distributed these saplings to help them flourish during the monsoon, which is the best time for planting.”

Other club members present during the event included Lion Rahul Singh, Akash Rajak, Gautam Mahato, Kajal Goswami, Ravindra Nath Tantubai, Puran Das, Shakti Pado Mahato, Deepak Das, and Bipad Kalindi.

The event is part of the Lions Club’s ongoing efforts to contribute to environmental protection and community welfare.
