JAMSHEDPUR – Two accused in the murder of Vikram Sharma in Dehradun surrendered in Varanasi while police continue to question his brother Arvind Sharma and search for another shooter.

The murder of gangster Vikram Sharma has taken a new turn. Moreover, two accused reportedly surrendered at Cantonment police station in Varanasi.

Dehradun police teams were conducting raids in Bagbera and Jugsalai. However, authorities have not officially confirmed the surrender.

Shooter Vishal Kumar Singh remains absconding. Meanwhile, police believe his arrest may reveal further links.

CCTV footage identified Akash, Ashutosh and Vishal. In contrast, investigators have not disclosed the mastermind’s identity.

Police detained Arvind Sharma soon after the killing. Moreover, he is being interrogated regarding alleged involvement.

The method mirrored the earlier killing of gangster Amarnath. Meanwhile, Vishal Singh had faced charges in that case.

Vishal had previously secured bail in the Amarnath case. However, he has not been arrested in the present matter.

Akash was earlier accused in the Parsudih liquor trader Vijay Sahu murder. Moreover, he had served jail time in that case.

Investigators are probing disputes over a stone crusher business. In contrast, Vikram and Arvind were once close associates.

Police suspect Arvind conspired with Prabhat from Mango. Moreover, shooters were allegedly hired to execute the attack.

Arvind had earlier faced trial in transporter Ashok Sharma’s murder. However, he was acquitted by the court.

The 1998 killing of Ashok Sharma occurred in Bistupur. Meanwhile, only one accused received life imprisonment.

Police are actively searching for Prabhat. Moreover, Dehradun teams are coordinating with local officers in Jamshedpur.

Investigations revealed shooters stayed in Haridwar before the crime. Meanwhile, CCTV captured them at a hotel near the railway station.

They rented a scooty and motorcycle for travel. However, both vehicles were returned after the attack.

The murder took place outside a gym in Dehradun. Moreover, Vikram was declared dead at Max Hospital.

A complaint was lodged at Dalanwala police station. Meanwhile, Inspector Santosh Kunwar confirmed multiple teams are investigating.

Vikram’s funeral was conducted in Dehradun on Saturday. Moreover, several associates from Jamshedpur attended.
