JAMSHEDPUR – The first-ever Mango municipal election has turned intensely emotional with internal party conflicts.

However, the mayoral race witnessed a major development on Sunday. Congress state leadership expelled Shista Parveen alias Jeba Khan from the party.
Meanwhile, senior Congress leader and former minister Banna Gupta addressed a public meeting. He became emotional while campaigning for his wife’s mayoral bid.

Moreover, she accused the party of denying justice to loyal workers. She alleged support was given to leaders with differing ideologies.
On the other hand, Jeba Khan displayed photographs during the conference. The images included former chief minister Raghubar Das and Banna Gupta.
Meanwhile, she said she remained firm in the electoral contest. She claimed the people of Mango would deliver their verdict.
In addition, the developments have intensified political drama in the civic polls. The situation reflects growing tension ahead of voting.
Earlier stages of the election process were reported in nomination filings. Election symbols were detailed in symbol allocation.
Security arrangements were also outlined in arms deposit order. The mayoral contest in Jamshedpur continues to draw attention.
