Shyam Baba Annual Mahotsav to Be Held in Sonari on Saturday

JAMSHEDPUR – The 23rd Shri Shyam Annual Mahotsav will be celebrated in Sonari with rituals, a nishan yatra, and devotional events.
The event will be held on Saturday, February 7. It will take place at the Laxmi Narayan Marwari Temple.
The programme is being organised by Shri Shyam Seva Sangh Sonari. Preparations for the annual festival have been completed.
Meanwhile, a grand nishan yatra will be organised. It will begin at 12.30 pm. The procession will start from Sonari Ram Mandir.
The yatra will pass through main routes of Sonari. It will conclude at the Laxmi Narayan Marwari Temple.
Moreover, devotional arrangements will be elaborate. A ceremonial toran gate will welcome devotees near the venue.
On the other hand, the Shyam Baba darbar will be richly decorated. Chhappan bhog offerings will be presented.
Meanwhile, akhand jyot arrangements have been made. Decorative lighting will remain a major attraction.
Renowned bhajan singer Adarsh Dadhich will perform during the festival. Stage proceedings will be conducted by Shubham Agarwal from Ghatshila.
In contrast, organisers said volunteer coordination remains strong. Several members are overseeing preparations actively.
Key organisers include Ashok Diwan and Shyam Agarwal. Others include Arvind Agarwal and Manish Garg.
Moreover, Chetan Agarwal and Suresh Agarwal are involved. Rupesh Jain and Rajesh Todi are assisting.
Meanwhile, Kamal Agarwal and Bajrang Verma are coordinating logistics. Rahul Agarwal and Vijay Gupta are also engaged.
Earlier religious events in the city included the 21st Shyam Mahotsav ceremony. Temple infrastructure updates were reported in the Bistupur Shyam temple project.
Devotional gatherings were previously highlighted during the Sawan bhajan sandhya. Temple consecration activities were covered in the Sonari consecration festival.
Community service initiatives were earlier noted during a blood donation camp. Religious observances across Jamshedpur continue to draw large participation.
