JAMSHEDPUR – Scrutiny of mayoral nominations in Mango municipal area ended with three rejections.

The scrutiny process was conducted for the Mango Municipal Corporation mayoral election. During verification, three nomination papers were found defective. Consequently, those nominations were cancelled by election authorities.

The rejected candidates were Kakoli Mahato, Shabana Bano, and Anita Devi. Meanwhile, their papers failed to meet scrutiny requirements. In contrast, thirteen candidates cleared the verification process.

After scrutiny, thirteen candidates now remain in the electoral contest. Moreover, Friday has been fixed as the withdrawal deadline. However, the candidate list may shrink further after withdrawals.

If no withdrawals occur, all thirteen candidates will stay in the race. Meanwhile, election symbols will be allotted on Saturday. Consequently, candidates will be formally authorised to begin campaigning.
