Little Flower School Holds Class XI Orientation for Students and Parents on March 30

Session Focuses on Adolescent Transitions, Emotional Growth and Open Communication

Key Points:

  • Little Flower School organises orientation for Class XI students and parents on March 30
  • Session addresses academic pressure, emotional changes and peer influences in adolescence
  • Parents encouraged to foster open communication and support children at their own pace

JAMSHEDPUR – Little Flower School organised an orientation session for its newly enrolled Class XI students and their parents on March 30, 2026. The session centred on helping both students and families navigate the significant transition that comes with entering senior secondary school.

The programme was designed to address the multiple dimensions of this critical academic phase. Stepping into Class XI brings with it new subject choices, heightened expectations, and the responsibility of beginning to shape one’s future academic and career pathway.

The session also drew attention to the emotional landscape that adolescents navigate at this stage. Young people at this age are often simultaneously seeking greater independence, managing self-doubt, and responding to pressures from peers and society at large.

Facilitators emphasised the need for empathy and patience in dealing with adolescents during this transitional period. Parents were specifically encouraged to keep lines of communication open with their children.

In addition, parents were advised to reduce unnecessary academic and social pressure. The session reinforced the idea that each child grows at their own pace and that this individuality must be respected.

The core message of the orientation was that students who feel genuinely heard, supported, and understood by their families are better equipped to face challenges. Such an environment, the session noted, helps young people develop the confidence and resilience needed for informed decision-making.

Little Flower School has been consistently organising such initiatives as part of its commitment to holistic student development in Jamshedpur. Several city schools have been holding similar orientation and wellness programmes for students and parents in recent months.
