Marwari Mahila Manch Holds Oath Ceremony in Jamshedpur

Prabha Padiya, Seema Agarwal Take Charge for 2026–28 Term

JAMSHEDPUR – Marwari Mahila Manch held its oath ceremony in Sakchi, appointing new leadership for 2026–28.

The event took place at Shri Agrasen Bhavan in Sakchi on Tuesday. It was organised by the Jamshedpur branch of the organisation.

The ceremony began with the lighting of a ceremonial lamp. Guests were welcomed with floral bouquets by members of the मंच.

Meanwhile, former national president Lata Agarwal administered the oath first. She inducted newly elected Jharkhand state president Prabha Padiya and her team.

Subsequently, Jamshedpur branch president Seema Agarwal took oath. Her team was also formally inducted during the ceremony.

On the other hand, Mukesh Mittal attended as chief guest. He currently serves as president of East Singhbhum District Marwari Sammelan.

Earlier, the welcome address was delivered by outgoing president Rani Agarwal. The event was conducted by secretary Meena Agarwal.

Moreover, treasurer Manju Musaddi presented the vote of thanks. The programme concluded with formal acknowledgements.

During the ceremony, the Jamshedpur branch received multiple recognitions. It secured a total of 20 awards at state and national levels.

These awards reflected the branch’s consistent performance. They highlighted its active participation and organisational efforts.

Meanwhile, the Jharkhand state team includes several office bearers. These include secretary Manisa Mittal and treasurer Lalita Saraiwala.

In addition, vice presidents Madhu Bakrewal, Kiran Goenka, and Sadhana Deoralia were named. Madhu Narnolia serves as joint secretary.

On the other hand, the Jamshedpur branch team features multiple members. These include secretary Kanchan Khirwal and treasurer Saraswati Agarwal.

Vice presidents include Manju Musaddi and Meena Agarwal. Shilpi Agarwal has been appointed as joint secretary.

Several prominent members attended the event. These included Jaya Dokania, Bina Khirwal, and Sushila Khirwal.

Moreover, representatives from various Marwari organisations were present. The gathering reflected strong community participation.

Women from multiple branches attended enthusiastically. Participants came from Parsudih, Sundernagar, and Gamharia.

In addition, members from Koila Dungri also joined the ceremony. The event witnessed a large and vibrant turnout.
