JAMSHEDPUR – The legal community observed Advocate Day at the District Court Bar Bhavan premises. The event marked Dr Rajendra Prasad’s 141st birth anniversary.

Senior Bar Association members participated in the celebration. Advocate Arjun Singh and Advocate Sudhir Kumar Pappu jointly cut the cake. The ceremony honored India’s first President.

Singh spoke about Rajendra Prasad’s personal simplicity. Moreover, he highlighted the leader’s honesty and work methodology. The speaker emphasized his ideals and values.

The first President lived like an ordinary Indian. Furthermore, his lifestyle in the vast Rashtrapati Bhavan remains unmatched. No similar example exists in history.

His life values serve as inspiration today. Besides, they will guide future generations. The ideals remain exemplary and worth following.

Speakers discussed lawyers’ contributions to India’s independence movement. The legal community played a significant role. In addition, advocates led many freedom struggle initiatives.

The Bar Association has witnessed several transitions recently. The Jamshedpur legal fraternity lost senior advocate Biswajit Sengupta earlier this year. Meanwhile, advocate Shyamal Choudhary passed away at age 85. However, the community continues honoring legal traditions.

The celebration reinforced professional values among members. On the other hand, it strengthened commitment to justice. The event concluded with renewed dedication to legal service.
