SER to Recognize Employees at Ati Vishisht Rail Seva Puraskar 2023 in New Delhi

The 68th Railway Week Central Function in New Delhi will spotlight ten South Eastern Railway employees awarded the Ati Vishisht Rail Seva Puraskar 2023 for outstanding contributions.

JAMSHEDPUR – On December 15, 2023, the 68th Railway Week Central Function at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, will honor ten South Eastern Railway (SER) employees with the prestigious Ati Vishisht Rail Seva Puraskar.

General Manager Anil Kumar Mishra has extended his congratulations to these staff members for their significant achievements.

Among the awardees, Shri Surendra Kumar Singh, Assistant Signal & Telecommunication Engineer in Ranchi Division, has been recognized for his leadership in commissioning Electronic Interlocking at Latemda and Jhimri stations.

Md Pyar Ali, Sr. Section Engineer in Kharagpur Division, has been applauded for timely completion of critical NI work for RVNL.

Shri Arvind Pradeep S, Divisional Operations Manager in Adra Division, achieved the best RR dispatch from Bokaro steel plant during his tenure.

Loco Pilot Shri Narhari Das from Rourkela demonstrated quick thinking and averted a potential accident by applying emergency brakes on an Express train.

Shri Anoop Lal Rajak, Assistant Sub Inspector of RPF at Tatanagar station, showcased his heroism by saving a passenger who slipped while boarding a running train.

Head Constable Shri Manuj Kumar from Ranchi exhibited bravery by rescuing a TTI who tripped while boarding a train.

Technician Grade-II Ms. Shalini, based in Kharagpur Division, has been lauded for her dedication and dependability in the Mechanical department.

Shri Samaresh Tapna, Chief Commercial Inspector, played a key role in enhancing the Passenger Reservation System revenue share for SER.

Chief Commercial Inspector Shri Ronald W A Braggs effectively led anti-fraud initiatives, boosting ticket checking earnings and safeguarding railway revenues.

Shri Satyajit Mondal, a sportsperson from SER, has been recognized for his remarkable achievements in National and International Gymnastics Tournaments.
