New Railway Ticket Counter Opens in Sakchi’s Diamond Market

Former Minister Ramchandra Sahis Inaugurates Local Ticketing Facility

A new railway ticket counter has opened in Sakchi’s Diamond Market, providing convenient services for local railway passengers.

JAMSHEDPUR – A new railway ticket counter has been inaugurated in Diamond Market, Sakchi, enhancing access to railway services for the local community.

The counter was officially opened on Thursday by former state minister and AJSU party leader Ramchandra Sahis during a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

This facility will offer services such as general ticket booking, reservation ticket issuance, and cancellations.

Previously, residents of Sakchi and nearby areas faced inconvenience due to the closure of a local railway reservation counter, forcing them to travel to Tatanagar station for their railway booking needs.

The new counter aims to address this issue, allowing passengers to conveniently book their tickets locally.

Ajay Kumar, who is in charge of the facility, announced that the counter will operate from Monday to Saturday, 8:15 am to 9 pm, and will be open on Sundays from 2 pm to 4 pm.

This new counter is expected to significantly ease the process of railway reservations for the local residents, improving their overall travel experience.

The initiative reflects a broader commitment to enhancing infrastructure and providing essential services to the community.

With the new facility, local passengers can save time and effort, making railway travel more accessible and convenient.
